If a boater enquires about arranging a transient booking, you have a couple of choices, you can either create the booking on their behalf and request payment from the boater or you can offer the boater the option of creating the booking themself.
After clicking on the Email Booking Link menu item, you will be presented with a form where you just enter in their email address and on submission, you will be displayed a confirmation message that an email has been sent to the boater.
The boater will then receive an email with a button to start their booking process.
